HSBC Project Connect, currently under construction is an office building and training center with a total area of 1,600 m2. Located in downtown Muscat, occupying the same plot as the HSBC Bank Oman head office. As a new addition to the corporate space, Project Connect is designed to support the expanding Information Technology department by integrating state-of-the-art training facilities. The planning is organized around the open plan and moveable partition walls that provide flexibility in organizing changing functions. The ground floor also houses a catered service for staff and visitors and a secure server system. Overall comfort for visitors and staff is supported by common spaces at all levels; providing a level of comfort required in contemporary office space.
